Fond Farewell

During an afternoon stroll to procure some after work refreshments we learned that Salvato's Cafe is no more. We will miss this fine eatery equipped with a buffet of beer and mile high sandwiches. The perfect stop for a samich and a 6 pack to go. We will miss you Salvato's. Here's to the club sandwich that could have been.

Jacob said...: The new Fabio sign actually matches the old Salvato's lettering. I hope Fabulous Fabio still plans on stocking some choice brews.

tokyocrunch said...: I'm happy to report that Fabio's claim of offering "The World's Best Sandwiches" is only inaccurate in that they're probably just "The Loop's Best". Still, with as much time as we've been spending in the Loop lately, the difference is unclear.
